I’m great at brainstorming and making beautiful to-do lists, but as soon as it’s time to actually execute, everything crumbles. I end up staring at my plan feeling guilty for doing nothing. How do you transition from planning to actually doing without it becoming just another "to-do" graveyard?

We often plan for the end result but skip the tiny, manageable steps that you can actually achieve even on a bad day. I recently came across a really solid guide on how to fix this: https://getattainify.com/blog/....how-to-create-an-act The Attainify blog breaks down how to turn abstract goals into a working algorithm that you’ll actually want to follow. It helped me stop making "wish lists" and start making progress. If your plans always seem to stall, I highly recommend giving this a read—it provides a much better structure for real action.

I've seen teams argue that "any" is fine for speed. In your personal experience, does sticking to strict rules actually pay off when the pressure is on to deliver?

I used to think it was a bottleneck until I had to refactor a massive project without it. I’ve personally seen TypeScript save days of debugging by catching those "hidden" errors that usually only pop up after a site is live. For me, it’s the only way to build something complex at Stubbs without the whole thing turning into a mess as soon as the team grows. You can see the standard I’m talking about here: https://stubbs.pro/technology/typescript
It’s simply about working smarter, not harder.
